Thank you for your interest in our Emergency and Disaster Relief Fund. Years ago, we recognized a need for an emergency fund to help pets belonging to clients who could not afford critical care and for pets who had been injured or displaced due to situations beyond the client's control, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc.
One of the most difficult situations for a veterinary hospital is when an owner does not have the means to fund necessary care, and all veterinarians struggle with balancing compassionate care and the business bottomline. We strive to present all facts, medical and financial, to owners so they can make informed decisions about their pocketbooks.
Animal Medical Center realizes the importance of a helping hand when someone is in need. By contributing to our Emergency and Disaster Relief Fund, you allow us the opportunity to help other pet lovers who are in need. Any amount is appreciated, no matter how small.
A donation to the fund can be made in honor or memory of a special pet or owner, a very thoughtful and appreciated gesture.
The stipulations for someone to be eligible for this fund are:
1. In the case of an injured or sick pet, the pet must be able to be healed.
2. The client must have expressed an inability to pay for this specific pet's needs.
3. The owner's account must be in good standing at the time of the emergency.
